I always thought that, “देश के गद्दारों को, ** मारो सालों को", was the lowest point of Indian democratic values because no one was punished for these inhuman slogans. But seeing आ clip today, which says that “जब मुल्ले काटे जाएंगे तो राम-राम चिल्लायेंगे", changed my mind. And now I am unable to guess about the possible deterioration of our democratic values.

एक बार मेरे एक टीचर ने कहा था कि हम भारतीयों की फितरत बाकी दुनियाँ से थोड़ी अलग है। वक़्त की चुनौतियों के सामने बार बार हमने दुनियाँ की उम्मीदों और संभावनाओं को गलत साबित किया है। Every time it felt like we have touched the bottom of the ocean and every time we have jumped so hard that the world was overwhelmed to see us overcome.

But this time it's different. It is a planned deterioration and our top government machinery has decided to ignore these types of stunts because it is helping them in winning the elections.

The person in this clip introduced himself as ‘Rambhakt Gopal'. I don't have any problem with self proclamations but I am sure that this so-called Rambhakt mr. Gopal is not even vaguely familiar with the ‘Idea of Ram'.

If we will update this ‘Idea of Ram' according to the modern values then we will have a person who will fight against violence, communalism, capital punishment, gender discrimination, racism, and religious polarisation.

I am not sure about the righteous conduct of the government but in the meantime we, the people of India, should be aware and cautious of these abominations borne out of the lust for power.

Maybe our government is not aware about this but they are behaving like a person who is cutting the wooden floor of his boat out of boredom while being trapped in the open ocean.
